Last year Rochester Wedding Magazine held a Facebook contest called “Show Me Your Rocks” …where engaged couples submitted an image of the ring and the highest votes won! Adriana submitted her beautiful ring picture and with well over a 100 votes won First place which happened to be an engagement session from us (..and will be featured in the magazine!) YAY!

Adriana and Sam were so much fun to work with! They felt that a more “urban” setting would be a great fit and I had just the perfect area in mind! We walked around downtown Rochester and found some pretty cool spots! After a ton of laughs and stories of their upcoming wedding, we ended up with a ton of great images that I know they will love forever!

The one year sessions are so bitter sweet for me, as I’ve seen most since they were just days old! This little guy’s name is Dominic and he’s been a regular on the blog! From his mommy’s maternity session and the brand new face of 10 day old newborn, the fresh smiles of a 3 month old, the adorable personality of a 6 month old, the charm of him at 9 months, to such the little man at 1! I’m going to miss watching him grow every three months and hope they will come back for visits!!

One of my favorite reasons I love being a photographer is being able to meet couples who are as passionate about photography as I am!! For Jess and Dan I could tell they were this couple from the moment we first met. They were so excited to share with me the details of their big plans for their wedding that is quickly approaching this coming Saturday!! As we got into the shoot their nerves quickly faded and their adorable, sweet personalities shined through! We were cracking up for most of our time together over many of Jess’s poses! I can just tell its going to be equally as fun on their wedding!

Jess and Dan….I’m just as excited for your big day as you two are! We’re down to counting the hours rather than days!! YAY!!

My little buddy Deacon was in the studio recently with his parents for this fun filled session! It’s so fun to see him grow throughout the year! It’s hard to believe he was in there last at just 10 days old!

The spring here in Rochester has been full of rain, cold, grey gloom and even more rain! We’ve all had enough and can’t wait for SUN!! A few days back we couldn’t take being cooped up anymore so we put on the rain boots, winter jackets and umbrellas to take a stroll outside. …and what 3 year old doesn’t love splashing in puddles! Today we actually have some sun! Ahhhhhhhhh!! Even though its 52 degrees we’ll take it!! HAHA! Keep your chins up…spring will finally be here!!

Here is our daughter Brooke being Brooke! ;)
