An engagement shoot with fire trucks, boats and even a little water! We often get to visit my old home town of Clayton which we hold very near and dear to our hearts. A small town with a ton of personality and placed right on the St. Lawrence river in the 1000 Islands. This trip up we were lucky enough to catch up with Ryan and meet his stunning bride-to-be Cori-Anne for their engagement session! We knew the shoot had great potential for capturing some truly unique images when they told us that they BOTH were members of the Clayton fire department…hmmmmm…and the wheels start spinning! We had tons of fun with the firetruck then hit up the streets of downtown (yes there is a downtown) then off to the fireboat! For all that don’t know, the fireboat is used for any emergencies on any of the islands which cannot be reached by car. So anyway! ….the boat pulls up and they hop on! Snap a few shots and at this point a crowd is starting to gather because the boat is spraying water for the show about 50 feet or more. I’m getting more excited by the minute! They hop off the boat and knowing what a fun couple they are we suggest that they get a little WET! Ryan’s dad was driving the fireboat and has now docked the boat next to us. We give the signal to move the spraying water stream closer to them for a “little” shower! Ryan wasn’t too keen on taking his shirt off at first, but was a great sport and it was worth it for the final product!
To Cori-Anne and Ryan: OMG…what an adventure! This is another one that I will never forget! I have to say Ryan, I was a little nervous as to how you would be with the pictures (knowing the ham you are) and you did awesome!!! I think you had the most fun out of all of us! HAHA! We are so looking forward to your wedding neat year!!
