“WHOO HOO” …we look over and its Evie (the bride) getting out of the limo! HAHA! What a total character! It was one big party during all of the formal pictures downtown. We’d like all of our weddings to be like this…it takes away the stress of the formal pictures….and when you’re relaxed you’re going to get more natural photos! Evie and Mike as a couple are so fiery and spicy…which I knew would make for one very entertaining wedding!! From the time they sat and met with us about their wedding I knew we just HAD to be a part of it! They had a beautiful ceremony at St. John’s Church in Spencerport and on the way to the Rochester Club Ballroom we made a spontaneous photo stop downtown.

To Evie and Mike: HAHA!…I will remember you two for the rest of my life! I’m so glad that we were able to be there on this day with you!

One of my favorite engagement shoots to date! I’ve been excited to work with Tosha and Tony since our first meeting. They are sweet, spunky and their chosen professions of working in a hospital and a city firefighter really shows their huge hearts and compassion.

With only a 30% chance of rain we thought we were good to go, but just as we both pulled up the rain started! Ugh! Thank goodness for the iPhone as we were able to see the weather radar and that the storm should pass in any minute. YAY! As the rain lightened up we actually then saw some sun popping through…and got some adorable images with the umbrella. Just at that moment it hit us and rain and sun equals rainbow! We turn around and there it was! “OMG RUN!” Perfect rainbows last for split moments so we knew we had to go fast! Ahhhh…perfect! It was like it was placed there just for us! Like the rainbow wasn’t amazing enough… Tony was then telling us a story about how he was up on a building in the distance last week for work and how cool it would be to get up there for a few pix! We were excited for the thought but never in a million years thought he would be able to pull stings that quick …”can we be there in 5?” Um yes!! As in a whirlwind we were whisked up to the top of one of the tallest buildings in the city of Rochester! At the top it was so surreal…the most amazing view of the entire city! Breathtaking! I turned to Tosha and said “don’t you feel like you’re on a date on the Bachelor?” HAHA! The super sweet security guard that let us up there was off duty in a few so we had a few quick minutes to take it all in and capture some amazing shots!

To Tosha and Tony: What an amazing adventure! One that I will remember for a lifetime! I remember calling my mom on the way to the building because it was such a surreal moment…I just had to tell someone! You two were the absolute perfect couple for something like this to happen to! Your wedding in early July can’t come fast enough…I know it will rival this day!

This little guy is no stranger to Images Unveiled or our blog…we’ve been so fortunate to photograph his parents wedding and his newborn and 3 month pictures. This time he was in for his 6 month photos and he is the happiest little guy I have ever met! I’ve said it before, but this age is my favorite…maybe because it’s when our daughter Brooke’s true personality really shined! (as bold as it still is I look so forward to every time Declan comes back and cant wait to see him again at 9 months!
