We met baby Camden’s parents a few years back while we were photographing their very close friends wedding! Stacie and Andrew were hilarious at their maternity session and specifically remember him jokingly saying “honey Im going to get you a canklet!” ….ahhhh how sweet! HAHA! These two have a great sense of humor and could have stayed and talked to them all night! Not long after this session did baby Camden come in to this world! He was only a week old at this newborn session and by looking at these photos you can see how much love these parents have for him!!
month: May 2010
What do I love photographing more than anything?!? My beautiful little girl Brooke! She is spunky, fun, sweetly compassionate and at this age of two and a half she’s my little buddy! I love her more than chocolate! Her new thing is when people ask her how old she is she says “22!” HAHA! I crack up every time! …yes 2 going on 22! One of the main reasons that we got into the portrait side of photography is now understanding how important pictures are of children that grow and change so fast! Everyday that passes she changes so slightly and I want to capture so many moments so that someday she can share these images with her children!
She loves: -pink toenails -candy -grandma and grandpa -dresses -any disney princess -the river & camp -school with friends …and most importantly her daddy! Here are a few images that I captured of her at my parents camp in the 1000 Islands! To check out more visit my personal profile on Facebook!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Pet Days event which was held every Thursday last month!! We had so much fun seeing everyone’s fur-babies and know how important they are in all of our lives! The concept was a huge success and we will be running another one this coming September so keep a look out! Since there isn’t enough time in the day to blog on every session, here are a few others that I just have to share!
Another adorable puppy in the studio for Pet Days portrait event! Sadie is a 10 week old Sharpie/Beagle mix! This young family (yes pets do make a family!) were so much fun to meet and after their upcoming wedding we get to see them again for a fun “Day After Session” here in Rochester! Check out this oh so lovable baby face! I want her!!!!!!!!
We knew this was going to be a fun wedding as soon as we arrive to see Keith and all the groomsmen with Chucks on that have “dudes” down the back heel! …and yes the rest of the day and into the night went as so! HAHA! We do say this a lot and we are passionate what we do for a living, but we loved every second of this wedding! Kristi and Keith are such a hip couple and the entire bridal party was exactly the same! What better way to shake off the pre-wedding gitters than with….bowling!! The guys had a blast throwing a few down balls as hard as they could down the lane in the basement of the church while Kristi was at her parent’s house relaxing. After the ceremony we headed downtown for a few shoots and one particular image we loved so much that it’s now hanging in our studio! The ballroom at the Hyatt was the perfect place to party for this couple…we would have loved to stay all night!
To Kristi and Keith: We are so glad it was you who kicked off our wedding season this year…setting a high standard! Love, love, LOVED your first dance! What a fun spin by throwing everyone off with the first few seconds of a slow song then suddenly breaking it down! Keith…maybe next year you can take Kristi to that 311 concert in Vegas!! J Good luck with everything and please don’t be strangers in the future!
