You know that old saying that opposites attract? Definitely true in this case! The personalities of these two couldn’t be more opposite…and I love seeing it! Kristie is spunky, energetic, and so animated and Shane is cool, collected, and strong. You can tell by being around them they are such a perfect match. They had both their ceremony and reception at beautiful Casa Larga in Fairport! It was a gorgeous fall day with the most perfect clouds! Love clouds! HAHA! The couple let us do whatever we wanted for pictures and we didn’t even get the “are you serious” look for some of the poses (which we always seem to get at least for a few!) A perfect day from start to end…the kind of wedding that you don’t want to end!

To Kristie and Shane: Kristie, Kristie, Kristie! If you could come to my studio every week with that personality I know it would make for fun! HAHA! We had a blast with you two! We wish you the best!

Hi everyone, this is Gregg adding my first ever IU blog entry! I am excited to be joining my life and business partner Mandy full time with the opening of our new studio and recently got to fill in for her. So a few weeks back Mandy came down with the dreaded flu and I was lucky enough to be able to step in on an engagement shoot with Gayle and Lee. Now Gayle and Lee were both in from out of town and with some help from our favorite wedding planner Laura Linder of “Better Together Events,” we tweaked last minute schedules. We ended up having a fun and energetic session over by the canal in the Village of Pittsford. Gayle and Lee were both so naturally comfortable with each other and their passion as a couple really came through in the final images. Thanks Laura for all of your help and Gayle and Lee you guys were a blast to work with! Best wishes with your final planning before the big day!

For all of you out there planning your own wedding, here is Laura’s contact info! She can be a HUGE help!

A lot of big news will be coming out of Images Unveiled this week. Gregg, my husband and business partner is now joining me full time as we begin the opening of our new studio in Pittsford! More details on the studio soon to come. … I often get asked how do you work with your husband every day?!? It’s easy, we’re best friends and our strengths compliment each other perfectly! Over the years, Gregg has played a huge role in starting and growing our business. He has always been at my side as my second shooter at weddings and overall my biggest supporter (besides my mom of course)! …best of all he takes care of all the tedious numbers stuff! HAHA yuck! ;)  His new main role will be to manage the studio, assist our clients as a portrait consultant and as always continue to join me at weddings. We each strongly feel that in order to have a successful photography studio we both need to be dedicated to our clients 100%. The two of us supporting each other and our clients full time is the ideal way for us to provide amazing photography with the latest products and outstanding service. Thank you to all our our family, friends and loyal clients, we truly appreciate your support!

We first met Heather at our wedding where her husband Seth was the DJ and also played the coolest jazz EVER in a band!! I seriously think it was my favorite part of the wedding! Jazz rendition of here comes the bride? …what else could a girl ask for! Heather was also 9 months pregnant with their daughter Cora. I remember telling her that I’ve never seen anyone more pregnant in my life! HAHA! A couple years later we were re-introduced from a class we were taking and this time I was the one 9 months pregnant. We, of course hit it off instantly and even got in trouble a few times for talking…I felt like I was in high school again! Anyway…since our kids are similar in age we remained friends and have fun play-dates! Heather is also a fellow photographer and does a beautiful job with children and families!

To Heather: This shoot I can definitely say I got my workout in! …mental workout too! HAHA! Kids running in every direction and with candy and Chuck-E-Cheese not working?!? Yikes! Very entertaining to say the least and we got some great pictures! ;) I’m so glad you decided to come to out to our wedding! You are great friend and an awesome photographer!

Jaime-Lyn’s wedding day was a perfect fall day at Canandaigua Inn on the Lake! As many know the fall here in Rochester is so unpredictable…we could go from a heat wave to snow in the matter of a few hours! Jaime-Lyn and Kevin were fortunate to even have some sun! The ceremony overlooked the lake was peaceful and beautiful.  Then the party got going under the tent! This couple had many close friends with many in from out of state. The speeches and toasts from bridal party captured the essence of this couple, in love with eachother and always concerned about the well being and happiness for their family and friends.

To Jaime-Lyn and Kevin: Thank you so much for choosing us to be a part of your day! We both enjoyed working with you two and thank you for treating us so well!! Also we saw your honeymoon pictures from Spain and they look amazing!!!!!!!! …hey Gregg our 5 year anniversary is coming up soon HAHA **wink, wink**  -Best wishes to you both as you start your new life together!

I LOVE this next image…Jaime-Lyn and Kevin had just walked down the isle when he leaned in for a kiss! These pure, happy moments are why I love what I do!
